The Solitude Cup
Cliftonville FDC will host one of the largest grassroots competitions over the summer months, presenting the Solitude Tournament throughout May & June at various age levels. 128 Teams from across the province, Republic of Ireland and Scotland will come to compete in both the Premier & Foundation Cup competitions. The club have managed to attract some of Dublins finest boys club teams, as Cherry Orchard, St Mochtas, St Francis, Belvedere and Templeogue Utd, have all confirmed their interest for the first ever event. Knightstwood FC, which is an Academy in Scotland, and boasts players on Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeens books, will accompany our Irish League counterparts Linfield, Glentoran, Ballymena, Portadown & Coleraine in what is shaping up to be a mouthwatering festival of football!

We are all looking forward to hosting the event. The amount of clubs and interest we have generated recently from social media is phenomenal, and the quality and calibre of teams is great. Should be a great few weeks at the club, and I am sure we will see some quality football on show
